Dr. "Buzz" Frenzy (Matthew J Hesse) Listening again with headphones, hearing the intro build, menace growing below the softly twinkling harp, I can imagine this song as a slightly expanded score underneath an intense sequence in the "imagined film" that Eric conjured in in his description of the origin of this tune. It'd be intriguing to hear a longer version of this song with further-extended instrumental passages echoing the main song's stated themes but also expanding them emotionally to magnify the "imagine' scenes' impact.

Written over a span of three years, this song initially came to me in late October 2016 when I was listening to a lot of Akira Yamaoka & Type O Negative and watching slow-burn horror movies.

It is written from the point of view of a beautiful, charismatic predator as he persuades some poor shattered soul into submission under the guise of protection.
